Changelog 8.0

Version 2.1 product update

Changelog 8.0

Today we shipped one of our biggest updates yet. It covers the web side, our e-commerce platform PapelShip, and qPapel Auth.

Code Editor

Many of you told us you wanted to build your own theme or edit your current theme's code. The Visual Editor already gave you flexible editing, and now there's a Code Editor next to it:

  • Write your own sections in code, then edit them block by block in the Visual Editor and add them to your store.

  • Edit your store theme with AI right from the panel.

  • Connect your own tools like Claude or Cursor via MCP and customize your themes however you like.

  • Bring your own HTML/CSS designs to PapelShip with the new Import tool.

In short, you're no longer tied to PapelShip themes. You can publish your own site code on PapelShip, or connect PapelShip payments to a site on your own hosting.

New Themes

The code-based Obsidian theme and the new Starter theme are live.

Payment Methods

You can now control what's sent to the payment provider for each payment method. Keep it as is, or edit it to fit your needs.

We believe this flexibility will be one of the key things that set PapelShip apart from other digital e-commerce platforms.

qPapel Auth

  • Custom domain support for the Customer, Reseller and Staff portals, synced with your store domain.

  • New shortcuts on the Keys page, like changing a key's product.

  • Speed improvements across the site.

As always, we'd love your feedback.
